La Punta della Lingua is a poetry festival that takes place every summer in Ancona and it hosts many poets from all over Europe. “La Punta della Lingua” means “The tip of the tongue”.
For its eleventh edition it celebrates the 100th anniversary of Dadaist movement’s foundation. The graphics take inspiration from the Dadaist aesthetic: different fonts, use of only red and black colors and an illustration created as if it were a collage.
The poster is designed to capture people’s attention while walking in the street, but the illustration is also thought for creating gadgets, like a keychain. The long red tongue gives the image a specific identity and refers to the link between the festival and words, understood as an art form.
